Students ages 8-12 will enjoy a week-long session that concentrates on building motivation and confidence in the subjects science, technology, math and engineering (STEM) through aviation and space. Activities such as flying in the simulator lab, climbing into cockpits, test-flying custom airplane designs and launching water rockets and finger missiles will be used to teach campers about the four forces of flight, navigation and the physics of rocketry. Teamwork, scientific inquiry and reasoning, and communications are essential, lifelong skills that our campers learn and practice throughout camp activities.

Thank you again for all the fun Will and Henry had at Flight Camp this week. They had so many wonderful experiences. I shared some of them with you this morning. I also wanted to be sure to share with you that they were in awe of the camp counselor who is attending CU for rocket engineering. It was really impactful for them to spend so much time with people who share their passion and I am so grateful that Wings provides this opportunity! –Jennifer Smith-Daigle, Camper Parent
My nephew Alexander had a great time, lots of fun, and learned a lot. Thanks to the staff for giving him the birthday card and wonderful messages—it made his birthday that much better. Hopefully he will be back in town and be able to attend next year, and do the Young Eagles flight too. –Antonio DeLoach, Camper Uncle
Thank you again for such a wonderful opportunity through Space Camp. We are excited to take part in such an innovative and rich program… thanks Wings Over the Rockies! –Amy Sauerbreit, Camper Parent
