Students will enjoy a week-long session that concentrates on building motivation and confidence in the subjects science, technology, math and engineering (STEM) through aviation and space. Activities such as flying in the simulator lab, climbing into cockpits, test-flying custom airplane designs and launching water rockets and finger missiles will be used to teach campers about the four forces of flight, navigation and the physics of rocketry. Teamwork, scientific inquiry and reasoning and written and oral communications are essential, lifelong skills that our campers learn and practice throughout camp activities.
