October 27 to 31
8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Campers ages 9 to 13 will experience a week of aeromodeling in our 1930s Air Force hangar.
Using geometry, electronics and basic engineering skills, campers will design and create their own model airplane. And, with help from an instructor from the Academy of Model Aeronautics, they will also learn to fly and maintain their aircraft.
Each camper receives:
Everything needed to build and fly their R/C model airplane
Free enrollment into the Academy of Model Aeronautics
At the end of the week, campers will get to fly their newly constructed airplane.
And, campers will bring their plane and remote control home.
