Learn everything you need to know about drones\, from flying techniques to industry applications. \nRegister Here \nThis program will provide a strong understanding of drone safety and regulations\, hands-on drone flying experiences\, expert guidance and an opportunity to meet industry professionals. You’ll be prepared to ace the FAA Part 107 to become a certified drone pilot! Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to soar into the world of drones with us this summer. \nClass dates are Sundays\, July 13 – August 31 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. (no class on July 27 or August 10). Participants must attend all 6 classes. Additional coursework and studying is required outside of the classroom.  FAA guidebooks and drone equipment are provided for this program. \nClasses will be held at Exploration of Flight at Centennial Airport (13005 Wings Way\, Englewood\, CO 80112). \nCost: $325\nDoes not include the FAA Part 107 test\, which is an additional $175 to be scheduled at student expense. \nThis class has a minimum of 10 students. Register for the next Little Wings: Plane Spotting event on August 16. \nLet your child’s curiosity take flight and join us at Exploration of Flight to explore the amazing world of airplanes! Join us on the third Saturday of the month for a plane spotting adventure. Participants will learn about the different parts of an airplane and how airports work. Then it’s off to the tarmac to spot real planes in action – watch them take off\, land and soar through the skies at Centennial Airport! \nWings’ Members: Sign in to receive 50% off tickets! \nSupported by:\n \nThis program is designed for children aged 3-6 years old and their guardians. Siblings are welcome to participate. Adults must accompany children at all times. All attendees must purchase a program ticket; general admission to Exploration of Flight is included with program ticket. A significant portion of this activity takes place outdoors on the tarmac. Weather appropriate clothing\, water\, sunscreen and hats are recommended. Some binoculars will be available for use\, and feel welcome to bring your own binoculars.

This meeting will take place at the Air & Space Museum in Denver at 7711 East Academy Blvd\, Denver\, CO 80230. \nRegister Here \nWings is thrilled to announce the expansion of the WAE pathway at our Exploration of Flight campus at Centennial Airport to include middle school classes! For this upcoming 2025/2026 school year\, WAE Centennial will be open to middle school and high school students (grades 6-12). \nWAE students have the opportunity to explore the wonders of flight\, engage with industry professionals\, and gain valuable skills for future careers in aerospace.
