DESCRIPTION:Perfect for beginners\, this 6-week course for ages 8–15 teaches students how drones work and how to fly them safely. Topics include flight safety\, drone terminology\, simulator training\, real-life flying practice and more. Plus\, Visual Line of Sight (VLOS) flying and FAA TRUST certification are included. This is a great opportunity to create a strong foundation for future drone pilots and STEM explorers! \nRegister Here* \nLOCATION: Wings Over the Rockies Centennial Campus (13005 Wings Way\, Centennial\, CO 80112). \n*This workshop is designed for students to take all sessions. We hope you will join us next month on April 25.\nEarn your Aviation Merit Badge!\nCome and learn about aviation basics\, pilot your course or flying adventure without ever leaving the ground\, build a glider from a foam plate and experience the Wings Over the Rockies Flight Simulator Room. Our penguin class also includes a tour of the Air & Space Museum! \nThe cost of the class is $25. Please bring a sack lunch.
