About the Exhibit

In this brand-new museum exhibit, guests will journey through extraordinary aerospace milestones and artifacts while discovering the stories behind the people who made them happen.

Humankind went from no significant controlled flight at all to landing on the moon in 66 years. Progress has continued, and future achievements beckon.

  • Wright Flyer fabric that went with Neil Armstrong to the Moon
  • American flag signed by Charles Lindbergh
  • Fabric from the Lockheed Vega that Amelia Earhart flew solo across the Atlantic
