Aerospace Exploration Pathway - Centennial

Wings is thrilled to announce the expansion of the Aerospace Exploration Pathway to the Exploration of Flight campus at Centennial Airport! For the upcoming 2024/2025 school year, Aerospace Exploration – Centennial will be open to high school students (grades 9-12) and focus on two primary pathways with a drone pilot course and private pilot course. Each of the courses will prepare students to become certified by the FAA. Wings Aerospace Exploration is an enrichment program that complements but does not take place of a regular education program.

This program is located at Exploration of Flight at Centennial Airport (13005 Wings Way, Englewood, CO 80112).

Drone Pilot Course

The Drone Pilot Course will prepare students for a career in drones!

Students would take the following classes:

  • Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association UAV Curriculum
  • FPV (First Person View) Drone Flight and Flight Simulators
  • FAA Part 107 Knowledge and Test Preparation

Airplane Pilot Course

Intro Ground School - Wings Museum

The Airplane Pilot Course will prepare students for a career as a pilot!

Students would take the following classes:

  • FAA Ground School Instruction
  • Flight Simulators Training
  • Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association curriculum
