Introduction to Pilot Pathway
Introduction to Pilot Pathway is a two-part workshop created to offer students ages 8th – 9th grade the basics of pilot training and inspire a love of flight.
The cost to attend Introduction to Pilot Pathway is $40. This fee provides the attendee with an annual “student membership” to Wings Over the Rockies. Museum members are FREE.
This course includes an introductory FLIGHT in a single-engine aircraft with a certified Colorado pilot. Flights will be individually scheduled at a later date, and will take place at Wings Over the Rockies Exploration of Flight on the south side of Centennial Airport.

- Airspace fundamentals

Private Pilot Ground School
For students in grades 10-12 who are ready to begin flight training, Private Pilot Ground School is a comprehensive course perfect for current and aspiring student pilots.
The 8-week Private Pilot Ground School will cover all the areas you will be tested on for your private pilot certificate, including air-space, aircraft systems, aerodynamics, cross country flight planning, weather and more. Instruction and assignments are provided by certified flight instructors.
