Exploration of Flight at Centennial Airport

Exploration of Flight provides one of the most unique event experiences in Denver’s South Metro Area. Situated on an active flight ramp on the south side of Centennial Airport in Englewood, Colorado, the hangar offers an ambiance that can only be found at one of the nation’s busiest general aviation airports. From a casual meeting for 20 to a formal celebration for over 300, your guests are sure to have a special time whether inside the hangar or on the ramp.

Air & Space Museum

Do I need to make an appointment for a site visit?

Yes, please contact our Events Department to schedule a site visit during museum hours.

How much time do I have to set up and tear down my event?

You will have three hours prior to your event to set up and two hours following your event to tear down. More time can be arranged for an additional fee, pending approval.

Will my guests have to pay for parking?

We provide up to 300 free parking spaces in the museum parking grounds, and ample street parking is available. Parking attendants may be required for an additional fee.

Can guests interact with the planes and exhibits?

Yes, the full museum and our exhibits will be open to your guests.

When is the rental deposit due?

The signed rental contract is due with a 50% deposit 14 days after the signer has received it. Final payment is due 14 days before your event date.

Does Wings Staff set up and tear down my event?

No, your caterer is responsible for setup and teardown. If you’re not using catering, then the renter is responsible.

No, our museum is designed with events in mind. Our planes are always arranged to accommodate large events on the main hangar floor, and we maintain 44,000 sq. ft. of space, comfortable for up to 1,200 seated guests and 3,500 standing.

Yes, we require insurance for all events.

What items are not permitted at an event?

Events are NOT permitted to use open flames, glitter, confetti, silly string, helium balloons, tape other than Gaffer’s, fog/haze machines (without pre-approval and a fire permit), fireworks or pyrotechnics, stickers/nametags, paint, or bubbles.
