This event is currently sold out. We look forward to celebrating the United States Marine Corps’ 250th birthday at the Air & Space Museum, with thanks to our Title Sponsor Alpine Bank! The evening will include dinner, refreshments and full program as we honor 250 years of the Marines’ dedicated service and steadfast commitment to our nation. Guests will hear from our distinguished guest speaker, Major General George B. Rowell, Director of Strategic Planning and Policy for the U.S. Pacific Command (J5). The program will include the time-honored traditions of the Marine Corps Birthday Ball, including the ceremonial cake cutting.
The celebration also includes the dedication of Wings Over the Rockies’ first Marine Corps aircraft, the AV-8B Harrier II+. We are thrilled to showcase this fast, flexible and fierce aircraft that became a legend in close air support for the Marines.
Pre-purchased tickets are required for this special evening. Tickets will not be available at the door.

Special Guest Speaker: Major General George B. Rowell
Hear from our distinguished guest speaker, Major General George B. Rowell, Director of Strategic Planning and Policy for the U.S. Pacific Command (J5). Major General Rowell assumed the duties as the USINDOPACOM J5 Director of Strategic Planning and Policy in June of 2025 after serving as the Deputy Commander, United State Forces Japan. He has accumulated over 3500 flight hours, with over 3000 in the FA-18, and has held every qualification and designation in that aircraft.
His personal awards include the Legion of Merit with gold star, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal with gold star, Air Medal Individual Action with combat distinguishing device, Air Medal Strike/Flight award with numeral 5, Navy/Marine Corps Commendation Medal with two gold stars and combat distinguishing device, and the Navy/Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
