Join Wings Over the Rockies Exploration of Flight at Centennial Airport for a full day showcase of Navy aircraft, along with an afternoon showing of “Top Gun: Maverick”!
Scott Kartvedt, a combat-decorated Blue Angel and stunt pilot for “Maverick” will be giving a special talk prior to the movie along with a Q&A session after the movie concludes. Aircraft on display will include an F-18, SNJ, T-34, SGS2-32 Navy Glider and more!

Schedule
9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.: Showcase of Navy and Marine aircraft, recruiters and exhibits.
12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m.: While the movie is being set-up, guests are welcome to enjoy the aircraft on the ramp and enjoy food from the food truck or have lunch at one of the many local restaurants surrounding the airport.
1:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.: Special talk by Scott Kartvedt, stunt pilot for “Top Gun: Maverick”
2:00 p.m. – 4:45 p.m.: Showing of “Top Gun: Maverick”*
4:45 p.m. – 5:15 p.m.: Q&A with Scott Kartvedt
*Important: Guests may either bring their own lawn chairs (recommended) or use a provided banquet chair. Wings reserves the right to deny any chair that is too large or obstructs views. Wings is not responsible for any lost, stolen or broken chairs. Outside food will be allowed. The movie will be shown with captions.
Speaker: Scott Kartvedt
Hear from combat-decorated Blue Angel and Hollywood stunt pilot Scott Kartvedt. Scott will talk about his involvement with the movie “Top Gun: Maverick”, the training of the actors, flying the aircraft and his time with the Blue Angels.
Scott was the first Commanding Officer of the F35C Stealth Strike Fighter Squadron in the US inventory. Before that, he commanded a F/A-18 Hornet squadron during two combat deployments to Afghanistan, where he supported Operation ENDURING FREEDOM. He has over 6,500 flight hours and 658 landings on 11 aircraft carriers. Scott graduated from Pepperdine University, the US Navy and Marine Corps School of Aviation Safety, Air Command and Staff College, Joint Forces Staff College and the Executive MBA program at the University of Denver.
