Location: Exploration of Flight (Centennial Airport)
Categories: Educational Events, Kids Activities, Special Events

Help us bring new life to our retired Cessna 150! This event* will teach guests the value and history of aircraft art, demonstrate how to create mural works step by step, and provide the unique opportunity to paint a real airplane. Bring the whole family for an exciting day of hands-on creativity!

You’ll discover:

  • How nose art originated
  • Decide on a theme for the project with a certified teaching artist
  • Map, edge tape, and paint your creation
  • Participate in a picnic** on the tarmac while watching planes take off and land
  • And more!

The finished Cessna will be displayed in our hangar for a limited time, to be seen by other guests, friends, or family during future visits!
