Kitty Hawk | Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum

Wouldn’t it be fun to have your own personal flying machine? The Kitty Hawk company made more than a hundred of these single-seat multicopters in 2016 and 2017. It runs on rechargeable batteries, and can take off and land like a helicopter from land or water! Although Kitty Hawk decided not to put the Flyer into production, other companies are working on similar ideas.

Wings Over the Rockies Exploration of Flight is teaming up with iFLY Indoor Skydiving, West Paramotor, Wild West Balloon Adventures and others to present equipment and information on alternative ways to soar through the air*.

Teacher Workshop: Folded Flight

Teachers are invited to join us for this in-person workshop and learn a unique aerospace lesson to bring to your classroom!

Take your paper airplanes to the next level with these fun and novel designs. Learn how to fold five different paper airplanes and discover the science behind each design. This is an active, hands-on session that includes basic aerospace knowledge and some artistic tips and tricks.
