Wright Brothers Exhibit

Wright Brothers Exhibit

The exhibit includes an enhanced Wright Flyer simulator, a propeller signed by Orville Wright and new displays. Explore the legacy and delve into the innovative minds and groundbreaking experiments that revolutionized air travel forever. Discover the trials, triumphs and the unparalleled vision that propelled the Wright Brothers to greatness.

When Orville Wright sold the Wright Company in 1915, factory workers were allowed to take a souvenir, and one man took this Model K seaplane propeller. In 1944, he and his son visited Orville Wright and asked him to sign the propeller. The National Aviation Hall of Fame purchased the propeller, and it has been displayed in several museums, including the National Air and Space Museum. The propeller is on loan from the National Aviation Hall of Fame.

This exhibit is included in the price of museum admission. This enhanced exhibit is made possible by The Bates Family Foundation.
