At Wings Over the Rockies™, we are proud to support the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Young Eagles program that introduces young people to the thrill of flight through free introductory flights with EAA volunteer pilots. This inspiring program aligns with our mission to educate, inspire and excite all people about aviation.

We regularly host EAA Chapter 301 Young Eagle’s events at our Exploration of Flight’s Clay Lacy Field of Dreams Ramp at Centennial Airport. Designed for young people ages 8 to 17 to experience flight firsthand, the Young Eagles program opens the door to curiosity, exploration and future careers in aviation. These are the values that are deeply embedded in everything we do.

Supporting EAA Young Eagles is more than just about taking to the skies, it’s about shaping the next generation of aviators, engineers and innovators. At both the Lowry and our Exploration of Flight campuses, we are committed to creating hands-on, transformative learning experiences that spark lifelong interest in aviation. The Young Eagles program perfectly complements this mission by offering a powerful introduction to flight that can ignite dreams and change lives. We’re honored to host EAA Chapter 301 in our shared mission to grow participation in aviation.
