Wings Over the Rockies™ Welcomes Amanda Morton as its Director of Guest Experience
Denver, CO (May 28, 2024) – Wings Over the Rockies (Wings) is pleased to welcome Amanda Morton as director of guest experience. She will develop and implement a comprehensive guest experience strategy aligned with the organization’s mission and values. In addition, she will oversee all aspects of guest services including admissions, ticketing and retail operations at both museum locations.

She brings more than 10 years of experience in the nonprofit sector and we look forward to working with her to advance our mission and goals,” said Wings Over the Rockies’ President and CEO, Maj. John Barry, U.S. Air Force (Ret). “Her wealth of knowledge and expertise will no doubt greatly contribute to our team’s success and we are excited to see all the positive impact she will have on our organization.”
Most recently, Amanda worked for the Denver Botanic Gardens as a visitor experience and resource center manager. While there, she recruited, trained, evaluated and managed a team along with many volunteers. She has also worked for the Amon Center Museum of American Art where she was the head of visitor experience and evaluation.
She earned her master’s degree from Texas Christian University and her bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas. She currently serves on the Board of Visitor Experience Group where she is development co-chair.
