Sensory Friendly Hours
We are pleased to offer a more comfortable museum experience for our friends who have sensory processing sensitivities and their families.
We welcome those with children, teenagers and adults with processing disorders and other cognitive disabilities, including anyone on the autism spectrum, to experience our exhibits in a lower sensory environment.

Wings’ Food Drive
Wings Over the Rockies® is flying together with Food Bank of the Rockies to fight hunger!
1 in 9 people in Colorado experience food insecurity, and Food Bank of the Rockies distributes upwards of 179,000 meals every day. Spread the word, gather your friends and family, and help us soar to feed our community! Plus, take the opportunity to explore our immersive exhibits and enjoy a day of fun while giving back!
Accepted food items (must be shelf-stable/non-perishable):
- Peanut Butter
- Pasta
- Tuna
- Beef Stew
- Chili Baked Beans
- Soup
- Fruit
- Vegetables
- Jelly
Items not accepted: Damaged, expired or items packaged in glass.
If you are unable to visit Wings Over the Rockies or Exploration of Flight, you can also support the food drive by giving online.

The museum is taking off after dark! Celebrate Denver Arts Week with an exciting evening of aviation, exploration and hands-on fun at Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum.
