This year’s gala will bring together aviation enthusiasts, community leaders, veterans, and supporters for an inspiring night, highlighted by the unveiling of our newly restored Thunderbird F-16D.
On this special night, our guest of honor, retired Brigadier General James Latham, will receive the 2026 Spreading Wings Award on behalf of the Thunderbirds. As a decorated combat pilot, POW, and former Thunderbird Commander, General Latham’s extraordinary story embodies courage, leadership, and service. At Wings Over the Rockies, we share those values and the mission to help further educate, excite, and inspire the next generation of aerospace leaders.
