The invasion is about to begin! Join us for a spectacular display of aviation history and see various types of warbirds up close at Wings Over the Rockies Exploration of Flight. Featured aircraft will include the Sonoran Beauty, L-19 Bird Dog, SNJ-5 Texan, TB-30 Socata Epsilon, Boeing Stearman and many more*! Plus, enjoy live vintage music from Bianca and the Flyboys from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Take a flight in the Sonoran Beauty!

The Commemorative Air Force Mile High Wing will be selling flights in the Sonoran Beauty. Flights can be purchased in person at the event (in addition to purchasing admission to the event) from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. with cash or credit card. Tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis at a cost of $125 for VIP or $250 for copilot seat.

The Sonoran Beauty is a rare 1943 Beechcraft 18 UC-45J/SNB-5 in its original military configuration minus wartime radios. It was built at the Beech Aircraft factory as an SNB-2 and served on active duty with the U.S. Navy from July 1943 until 1965 and is a three war veteran.
