Get your future off the ground!

Wings Aerospace Exploration (WAE) students will have the opportunity to discover the wonders of flight, engage with industry professionals, and gain valuable skills for future careers in aerospace. The program includes building and operating RC airplanes, drones and robotics, as well as coding, rocketry and LOTS of other aviation and space related subjects. Wings Aerospace Exploration is an enrichment program and complements but does not take place of a regular education program. Click here to register for an upcoming Parent/Family Information Night.

Aerospace Exploration at Lowry is open to students in grades 6-12. Courses include building and operating RC airplanes, drones and robotics,  3D printing, engineering design, coding, rocketry and more! The skills learned, including hands-on project management, teamwork, problem solving, design thinking and applied technology, reach beyond aerospace and can be applied in many fields.

Aerospace Exploration at Centennial is open to students in grades 9-12. The two comprehensive courses offered are Drone Pilot and Airplane Pilot. Both courses include the training necessary to become FAA-Certified by taking the FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot or the FAA Private Pilot Written Knowledge Test. In addition, students will receive simulator training, flight safety instruction and career guidance.
