Our newest exhibit Space: A Journey to our Future is now open!
Get ready for lift-off! Immerse yourself in the world of space exploration and learn about the planets, the solar system, the stars and the universe beyond. Experience various hands-on stations where you can touch actual rocks from the lunar surface and the red planet, take a spin on a centrifuge, get up-close to artifacts from the space program and much more!
One of the most iconic symbols of the Vietnam War is the Bell UH-1 “Huey” helicopter. Hueys served throughout the conflict as troop and cargo carriers, air ambulances, and gunships with the US Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps.
This ¾ scale replica of the fighter Luke Skywalker flew in the climactic attack on the first Death Star has autographs of dozens of the cast and crew on the fuselage side. An active R2-D2 sits behind the cockpit and reacts to visitors.
