We are pleased to offer a more comfortable museum experience for our exceptional friends who have sensory processing sensitivities and their families. We welcome families with children, teenagers and adults on the autism spectrum, with sensory processing disorders and other cognitive disabilities to experience our museum in a lower sensory environment.
Join us on the third Sunday of every month from 10:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. to experience the museum turned down and participate in sensory friendly activities including a Photo Scavenger Hunt, Shredded Paper Plane Collage and more.
Admission is FREE for children or adults with sensory processing sensitivities and their families.
REGISTER HERESpace is limited – Reservations are required. Social distancing and face masks are required during your visit.
Prior to your visit, you will receive “pre-visit” materials to help prepare for your visit including social narratives and sensory maps. Click here to access them now and view other Sensory Friendly Mornings!
We look forward to seeing you!
