Join us at Exploration of Flight for a fair at the airport! Enjoy carnival games and see aircraft, cars, drones, impressive models and aviation photography on display, and even take an airplane ride. Featured aircraft will include a Boeing Stearman, Sonoran Beauty, Bellanca Decathlon Xtreme and more. Don’t miss out on this one-of-a-kind family event where the magic of the fair meets the wonders of aviation!

Schedule for Saturday, July 6th:
10:00 a.m.: Doors Open
10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: South Metro firetrucks
10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.: Colorado Aviation Photographers will be present to discuss their art and sell prints
11:30 a.m.: Drone Soccer Demo by Wings’ own Predator team
12:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m. & 4:00 p.m.: RC Aircraft Demos (roughly 15 minutes each)

Take a Flight!

Come fly with us in a variety of modern and vintage aircraft! Wings will be offering discounted prices for flights during the event!*

  • Varga: $120
  • Tecnam: $160
  • T-34: $350
  • L-19 $200

*Discounted prices for walk-ups only. Pre-purchased flights will be charged regular full price. Aircraft availability subject to change.

Additional Flight Experiences:
Purchase a flight in the Sonoran Beauty from the Commemorative Air Force Mile High Wing. Price is $250 for a co-pilot seat (one available per flight) or $125 for a passenger seat (four available per flight).

Take a ride in the Boeing Stearman from Old Glory Air Corp. Price is $100 for a 10-15 minute flight.

Flights can be purchased in person at the event (in addition to purchasing admission to the event) during event hours with cash or credit card. Tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis. Flights are weather permitting.
