Join Wings’ Curator, Chuck Stout for an interesting talk on “What We’ve Learned from Flying” at 11 AM in the Exploration of Flight classroom to hear about: How did flying change from a dangerous, foolhardy challenge that attracted only daredevils and thrill seekers, into an industry where perfect safety is expected (and usually achieved)? Things like checklists and decision-making strategies have made their way from cockpits into everyday life. You might be surprised at how often we all use methods and procedures developed in airplane cockpits!
Please note: Food purchases are not included in admission.
Pilots – Fly in for free breakfast! For tie-down space, contact Flight@WingsMuseum.org or 303.360.5360 ext 160.
